Mortality Screening

Why do pension schemes need mortality screening?

Around £200 million in pension payments are made to some 180,000 deceased people every year. If you are a trustee of a pension scheme, mortality screening can help you identify deceased pensioners and detect, prevent and recover pension overpayments.

Our mortality screening can save you money

Our online mortality checking system enables identity and verification checks to be made on individuals, and this ensures there is evidence of death coupled with identity, residency and no sanctions/alerts against the individual.

It includes DDRI (Disclosure of Death Registration Information) records ensuring that impersonation of deceased fraud can now be fully countered.  And the database now includes all government GRO & DDRI deaths from 1984 to the present day and is updated on a weekly basis.
