1. What is Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions ("CHTS")?

Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions ("CHTS") is a specialist tracing agency. CHTS has been appointed by Airport Development & Investment Ltd ("ADI") to identify and locate shareholders who have not responded to the recent BAA takeover.

3. What is the CHTS service?

The Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions service is a voluntary programme designed to reunite shareholders with their entitlements. If you decide not to participate in the programme, you may contact Computershare Investor Services Plc (BAA and ADI's registrars) directly: contact number 0800 408 1003.

4. What if the shareholder has died?

If the person named on the claim form has passed away, the executor(s) of the estate can sign the Claim Form and submit the original Grant of Probate, Certificate of Confirmation or Letters of Administration. If no legal documentation has been applied for, please contact the helpline for further assistance.

5. Is there an administration fee?

Yes. If you claim your entitlement through CHTS we will manage the entire claim process on your behalf and will liaise with the relevant registrar to ensure you claim is dealt with quickly and efficiently. An administration fee for using this service will be charged at 15% of the entitlement due plus VAT, This fee will be deducted at source and you will receive the net entitlement. There is no need to send any payment to CHTS. If you claim your entitlement other than through the CHTS service, you will not be charged an administration fee.

6. When will I receive my entitlement?

On receipt of your form, CHTS will liaise with BAA and their registrar to claim your entitlement. Once your claim has been validated, you will receive and acknowledgement letter from the CHTS team. Please allow up to 30 working days for your claim to be processed and your entitlement to be despatched.

7. Who will the cheque be made out to?

Payments will be made by cheque to the registered first named holder. We will not accept instructions to make cheques payable to anyone else.

8. What will CHTS do with my personal data?

The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) provides protection to individuals by governing the way in which personal information is held and used. Individuals are also afforded rights of access to information held about them. CHTS will protect your personal information in accordance with the principles of the DPA and use such information only to make the Claim on your behalf and update your details on the Company register. CHTS may disclose information concerning you to ADI, BAA, their registrars and to regulatory, tax or governmental authorities as appropriate.

9. What if I have a complaint?

10. What is CHTS's liabillity?

CHTS does not represent or warrant that you have a right to any entitlements - you need to check that you have a valid claim yourself. We accept no liability if your claim is rejected by the Company or its registrar. The total liability of CHTS or its directors, officers or employees (including, but not limited to, negligence and non-fraudulent misrepresentation) arising out of or in connection with the CHTS service is limited to the amount of your entitlement stated in your letter. However nothing in this clause excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by CHTS's negligence, for fraud and any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
