What is the Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions service?
The Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions service is a voluntary programme designed to reunite shareholders with their entitlements. Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions is part of Capita plc. If you decide not to participate in the programme you may contact Capita Registrars directly on 0871 664 0500 (calls charged at 10p per minute plus network charges).
When will I receive my entitlement?
Once your claim has been validated, your claim will be processed and your entitlement despatched to you within 30 working days. We will make payments by cheque, to the first named shareholder. We will not accept instructions to make cheques payable to anyone else.
Is there an administration fee for the Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions service?
Yes. If you claim your entitlement through Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions an administration fee for using this service will be charged at 15% of the entitlement due plus VAT. This fee will be deducted at source and you will receive the net entitlement. There is no need to send any payment to Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions.
What if I have a complaint about the service?
If you have a complaint about the service, please write to Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions at the address shown at the foot of this document.
What is Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions' liability?
Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions does not represent or warrant that you have a right to any entitlements - you need to ensure that you have a valid claim yourself. The total liability of Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions or its directors, officers or employees (including, but not limited to, negligence and non-fraudulent misrepresentation) arising out of or in connection with the Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions service is limited to the amount of your entitlement stated on our cover letter. However, nothing in this clause excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions' negligence, for fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
What if I normally live outside the United Kingdom?
If you receive this document outside the United Kingdom you are responsible for making sure that you follow local legal and regulatory requirements.
Protection of your information
The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) provides protection to individuals by governing the way in which personal information is held and used. Individuals are also afforded rights of access to information held about them. Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions will protect your personal information in accordance with the principles of the DPA and use such information only to make the claim on your behalf and update your details on the Company register. Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions may disclose information concerning you to the Company, it's Registrar and to regulatory, tax or governmental authorities as appropriate, or to its affiliated companies who are involved in carrying out functions related to the claim, including such affiliated companies that are outside of the EEA in countries which do not have similar protections in place regarding your personal information and its use, provided that Capita Hartshead Tracing Solutions ensures that such information is given the same level of protection as required by the DPA.
