Capita Hartshead Tracing solutions is part of Capita plc, (a FTSE 100 company and the UK's leading outsourcing company) who support, transform and manage their clients' business operations in a wide variety of markets.
Capita Hartshead Tracing solutions was launched in 2004 and initially offered services to FTSE 100 and 250 clients wishing to contact shareholders of companies they had acquired, from whom they had not received a response to communications.
The service immediately had positive impact on the registration market as it offered companies the ability to demonstrate corporate governance.
In 2006 we expanded our service to assist in the repatriation of funds for a demutualised building society.
By 2007 we had over 30 staff and had won an exclusive contract to trace the beneficiaries of £80m worth of unclaimed funds.
2008 saw the launch of our asset re-unification service and we completed our largest program to date with communications being sent to over 190,000 shareholders.
And in 2009 we launched our fraud prevention solutions including mortality screening and online ID&V services
